Windows 7/Vista compatibility In many cases, I do not know if programs are compatible or useful with these versions of Windows. If compatibility is not specified, try it and see – and let me know!
 SetRes Multi Monitor
Set the screen mode from a shortcut – FREE
Change the resolution, colour depth and refresh rate from the command line or a shortcut. Completely rewritten with multi-monitor support, it also works on single-display computers. Multiple SetRes commands can be run in one go from a script (.bat, .cmd, .vbs or other scripting tool). Note that a problem has been reported when used with Windows PE. SetRes Single Monitor is fine.
